Jim Loessberg/ Ray Price, Amarillo

Just got home from the Ray Price Show here in Amarillo. Ray sang his tail off, the band was good, and Jim Loessberg of course palyed his usual excellent self. Need less to say the steel wasn't in the mix the way we steel players like. The highlight of the show was the band playing "Cherokee". Jim took an excellent solo.

Jim was very kind after the show and had a great visit with him. Answering questions and just general conversation. I have known Jim since 1978 when he came through town for a week at the old Caravan. He blew my socks off then and he blows my socks off now.

Jim,thanks for the great visit and great playing. Hope to see you soon.
