If anyone is familiar with the 1505 Black Widow, I would sure like to hear your thoughts on it. It is an 8 ohm speaker that was intended for PA use. It is my understanding that it is fairly bassy and maybe takes some highs down a notch or two.
Any info is much appreciated!!!

The 1505 was designed to be used in at two way public address enclosure such as the SP2. The appropriate crossover point when using it in this configuration is between 800Hz. and 1200Hz. depending on the type of high frequency horn being used. Here is a link to this speaker from the Peavey site;

Hi Mike, I have been wondering when the 1502 was used, and in what amp. Thanks... _________________ Larry Petree, Bakersfield Ca. |

Larry,
I have a 1502-4 that came in my '83 Nashville 400. I like it much better that the 1501-4 in my '87 NV400. The 1502 has a ribbed cone and I believe it was probably produced originally as a bass speaker (I think I read that on here). What else Peavey used it for, I don't know. |
