Stuart Kevin Legg's New Black Stage One
He Emailed the order in and picked it up in Branson within 2 weeks.
If Doug tells you something you can count on it. Instant Email turnaround.
She's a beauty and what a sound.
Just this little brut and a volume pedal some cables and an amp with a little reverb and if Kevin will let me I will use this little monster for practice, at all my gigs and everywhere I play from now on.
Your saying to yourself hey you got an F/X pedal there in the picture.
Well the pedal shown is Kevin's HarmonyMan and I only use the octave down on this thing to shut up all these people telling me I should have bought a 12 string Extended E9.
I just stomp on the pedal and I can play those boogy woogy things lower than you could dream on your extended. Well heck I can go 2 octaves down and we can fire the dang bass picker.
The only other thing I take to the gig is a tuner and a can of Brut.
Sorry I haven’t had time to post a clip of the sound. Hope to real soon.

Bo, great stuff!
I think these steels have proven themselves as a student model with a professional sound. People are catching on to this all over the world.
I predict big competition between this one and the Carp from Rains...another quality student model. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Stage one vs Carp Steel. One name makes me think of a rocket booster and the other a fish. _________________ We live to play another day. |

The Stage One is licensed by ZUM. ZUM sounds to me like a car that's ZOOMING by and suddenly runs out of gas. |

. Open mouth insert foot. No Emails please. I was referring to the sound of the name not the sound or tone of the Steel Guitar. |

Yes, me too. I wasn't implying one smelled like a fish or that the other would blast off into orbit when you aren't looking. _________________ We live to play another day. |

Hey Bo, How do you like your Harmony Man? Do you get your orginal tone back when you are not using the octave lowering device? BTW, sounds like a terrific way to get lower tones on the 10 stringer. I think BOSS also sells these devices but I do not know if they are as good as your Harmony Man. |

Bo, Be careful with that Brut stuff. It's good to clean your changer but don't spray it on your body.
MILWAUKEE — An 81-year-old Milwaukee man has sued the makers of Brut cologne after it ignited and burned parts of his hands, chest and neck. He washed and shaved in a bathhouse on the camp grounds and applied Brut lotion to his face, neck and chest with his hands. He also used the aerosol deodorant. He then went to a fire pit to cook breakfast. His face, neck and chest ignited while he was starting the cooking fire.
BTW, Great little guitar. I have one but it's not black so it won't sound quite as good as yours. |

Brad, I haven't learned everything about the HarmonyMan.
I ran a line from the rhythm guitar and played some fast single string licks on my steel and the harmony follows the chords real good. You can't be sloppy with your blocking though. I discovered I need to go back and woodshed a while on my pick blocking plus. I love it so far and I haven't notice adverse effects when I turn the octave down doubler off.
Danny thanks for pointing that out about the Brut. I'm a chronic over-user (I even use it for auto, stage and motel room deodorant) and I use so much on my tennis shoes that they could explode. It's going to be hard to kick the habbit. I think I've been getting little high all along from using so much of it.

Hey Bo, you may have come up with a new concept, just have these effect devices where pedals 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are on the D-10..who knows what sounds you could come up with.
Some of these devices distort the signal when they are in line, glad to hear that the Harmony Man does not....now that you have found a device for pedal 4, you still have 4 more to find for pedals 5,6,7, and 8..LOL |

Chris, people shouldn't use that hair-spackle that Michael Jackson uses either. Between that and the Brut, a fella could be at his day gig and burn the whole dang brothel down! |
