Can I do it with any soft ware that I may have or could you do it for me? thanks,Greg

Yes, you can do it if you have image editing software that will convert a "lossless" .bmp into a "lossy" .jpg, using the Save As file menu item. Most image editors have this built in. If you can open a .bmp and a .jpg in your editor, you can save that file as either format.
