Karen, Musician's Friend sells a "cheapo" brand named Rogue in their catalog. They offer an F style mandolin which is surprisingly not that bad sounding and plays well when properly set up. A friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago and it's really not bad at all.........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Karen,
What price range did you have in mind for a violin? They are available from $100 up... I am a violin dealer and would offer you some suggestions if I knew what your price range was. The $100 violins are not much in terms of quality. I do have a nice entry level instrument which lists at $395. I would sell you one for less than that - e-mail me for a price, or give me a call at 607 865-5670 days. Thanks,
Larry J. |
