Here are a couple of photos of my new twin neck finished today. Front neck has a really bright Humbucker with staggered pole pieces like the old Valco string-through.
Rear neck has a pair of Teisco/DeArmond surface mount pickups. I may have to swap those out for a Lipstick though, the output from each of these is only 3.8K and the difference to the front neck is just too great for playing both necks in one song.
Will try to put up a sound file this weekend.
Hope you like it.
James.

Stunning! Love your work James but I
would want the black cover
to extend over the two back pickups.
The "dice" controls ....... neat idea!

I like it! Beautiful work, James. Can you tell us more about the humbucker? |
The Humbucker is new, bought from Axesrus online for £19.00. including shipping. It is a 4 wire Split Pole, (8K & 13K)tapping.

Superb James, I like the "Double Six" touch !
That may be a problem if you made a twin 8 ? but I'm sure the dice with 8's could be found somewhere around Vegas !! _________________

Thank you Basil, & everybody else. I thought the dice would compliment the Card Suits on the fretboards and just carry the gambling theme through. I only make these instruments for my own enjoyment, so I can do anything that pleases me, if it tickles others too then that is a bunus.
