I haven't been there or played there before, but I understand it to be a pretty big fun kind of event. It goes on 3 days ending on Sunday. The band I'm sitting in with plays from 3:30 to 4:30. I'm playing at a club on Fri. & Sat also, so I'm going to have to plan when is the most strategic time to change the old faithful #11. Judging from the following song list the female vocalist sent me, I'll probably be 50% steel and 50% on keyboards. I'm not bringing my 6 string to this one. If you have to ask where Walnut Creek is in N. CA, then it's probably too far for you. If any of you make it out there, be sure to say hi.

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if any of you made it out there, but I did anyway. I also got to hear the band that played just before us, which was called something like Silver Spurs. I met their steel player. He sounded very good. He was playing an Emmons double neck. His name is Bob Littleton and he runs a business called "West Coast Steel Guitar" at 925 935 9255. I guess that's all for now. __ Marc
