Starting on October 9th (Thursday) The 19th Annual L.C.C.S. of 2008 will be once again one of the highlights for true Western Swing Fans. The Show will star Asleep At The Wheel, The Quebe Sisters, and The Texas Playboys. Then on Friday and Saturday Morning with three stages going all day, Both days, treat yourself to Cowboy Poetry/ Cowboy Music/ And more Great Country and Western Swing Music till the Last song of the late night dances in the big Tent. I have played guitar with the late dance band for the last three years with Bobby Flores on Fiddle, Justin Trevino on Bass, Jim Loessberg on Steel, and always outstanding drumers, Piano players, Guest singers, and we keep the dance floor full. I'm sure you can check it out on the web. Search Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium, and you'll find something. There is always a huge selection of cowboy tack, and lots of venders have some of the most interesting products. Lots of outstanding art work, silver work, leather work, wood work, Elk and Deer Antler furniture...ect.
It is a BIG TIME!

Hey Chuck!

I'll see you there. I'm playing for the Floyd Domino Allstars again this year. I'll also be playing the dance friday & saturday night. Jim Lossberg is playing for Ray Price this week-end some where on the east coast. Jim & Larry called and ask me to fill in for him. I might be doing non-pedal steel for few shows with Dan Roberts. It's a great time. Anyone liking cowboy music and western swing you don't want to miss this.

I'm leaving early wed am.
Can't wait.

Roger

Hey Roger, I'm looking forward to working with you on the late dance sets. I sure do enjoy your playing. We'll have a ball, and Keep 'em on the dance floor!

P.S. I'll bring my screw drivers. (in case you need one.)

If anyone wants to check out the schedule, get on your fav. search engine, and look up "Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium" and you can find out who all is going to be there. See you there Roger!
