I have been using a 9VDC external Power supply for my Steeldriver III - The silver/gray colored one. Yesterday it stopped working and I discovered the power supply is putting out 14VDC. How can I get in touch with Goodrich? I cannot seem to find them with an internet search, and without a schematic I do not even want to try to find the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well, most "wall warts" put out significantly more than their rated voltage when they have no load attached, so you should be checking with the device attached and turned "on". I wouldn't consider 5 or 6 volts over to be anything to worry about, and I suspect you may have some other problem. Transistors have maximum ratings of fairly moderate voltages, which are usually 24 to 36 volts, so I wouldn't expect problems til you got significantly higher than 14 volts on the input.

Your problem is more likely a bad connection or broken wire, somewhere.
