Hi Jeff, I'm not quite sure about what you are asking, but, I think this answers it. The puller (bellcrank) attaches to the crossrod and the brass insert with hex screw holds that end of the pull rod. At the changer, the rod passes thru the changer finger and then through a 1 1/2" long aluminum "barrel" (which goes thru the endplate) A nylon hex tuner (nut) screws onto the end of the pull rod. Hope that helps.

I'd call it a pedal rod crank.
Pull rods are the long 1/8" rods from the bell cranks to the changer.

Are you having trouble with it?
Yours may be too close to the back plate to swing a full arc.

Hi Jeff, I think I understand what you are asking now. The 3/8 by 1 1/2' piece with a slot in it, most folks call a tab. The piece that Charlie called a pedal rod crank (as good a name as I can think of for it) has a slot in it that the tab slides into. Both the tab and the crank have a hole drilled for a roll pin (I think it's 1/16 or maybe 3/32). On the crank for my vertical lever, I opted for a brass 6/32 screw instead of the pin as I wanted to easily be able to get it in and out again. Hope that helps.

It's called a pedal rod connector link. Easy to make or repair, but a little work to remove and install.
