This is a little hard to explain, but for an effect of a harp for fills and/or special endings you can get a imitation of a harp by raking down the strings with your forefinger and up the strings with your thumb. It's better on an eight string or more neck and sounds the best with your steel on the 12th fret or higher. You keep doing these rakes, up and down, as long as you want the effect to last. I was originally inspired to do this listening to the Harp used by Spade Cooley in many of his arrangements.
