I have a pet project of building a 12 string non-pedal steel. I contacted Don @ BSG Steel guitars to inquire about the "nuts" he uses at The bridge and the neck of his "practice boards".
Let me tell you, these "nuts" are grooved, durable, screw into the neck, are and well worth the price.
I just wanted to share this with other "would be" first time builders, and also say a
thank you to Don for his help and product !
