I'm picking this Friday, Dec. 5, filling in the steel chair on the Shuffle Gig with the fabulous California Rangers while Rick Schmidt moves over to bass. Come party! Watch a Mullen D-12 9+10 in action!
The venue is McCabe’s, on Oceanside Blvd., just east of the ocean. From 4:30 pm till 9 pm. No cover.
Make a day of it and visit with Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of North County, it’s just a couple of miles from the club.
If you've got a whole day free, also go to the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad and enjoy the slide guitar exhibit, too. Plenty of cool vintage lap and console steels there to drool over.More details in a separate post. Check the post in this section about it. The museum is about 5 miles or so from McCabe's, very handy!!
