I will be posting the pictures later on tonight but I have a national blonde d8. It is a lapstyle does not have legs, it has the colored totempole markers on it. I'll post pictures and serial number after work tonight around 2:00 AM central time.

The serial number on the back is V38418. I could not locate my book on serial number codes so if anyone knows when it was built please post the date. Now for the pictures

The serial number is kinda strange-looking. Seems to be an 8 and a 2 superimposed on each other. If the # is V38418, it's a 1951.
If the serial # is V32418, it's a 1950. At least according to this site:

It is very nice it has only one blem and that is on the right side a little paint chipping. the reason I'm getting rid of her is I have an agreement with the wife if I get a new I have to let one go. I just picked up a D-8 Ricky so the national goes.
