Caravan played on both necks using an MSA Legend, Goodrich pot pedal, Boss RV-5, Fender Steel King mic'd with a Shure SM-57.
I played the bass parts into the Steel King which makes a nice bass amp at low levels. Lots of sustain and a real tight sound. The verses are E9, RavenWest Nylon, E9, C6,C6, the ending on E9th.
The drums parts were painstakingly programmed by hand on a Boss DR-880.

The first E9th verse is now posted out on the tab section along with the rhythm track if anyone wants to tackle this beast!

Way to go Greg!! I'm proud of the fact that I may have
had some influence during your beginnings with the other neck? Glad to be able to call you one of my buddies! Great tune and great playing! I'll bet you're so glad your parents helped you to go beyond your early R & R guitar years and get the D10 steel!!?? I know I am!! You should have heard the Sunset Ramblers play that after Bob Barry joined our band on jazz accordion!! 3 part riffs! with fiddle Accordion and lead guitar. No Doug on steel on that one......no pedals yet for me in those days! Pedals or not I was a beginner back then & beginners don't play Caravan!
