This is the 12-string version of the 10-1 pickup.

It came from Bobbe's shop with wide-mount "ears". Since I play an older Mullen, which uses narrow-mount pickups, I cut the mounting "ears" off and the pickup is now mounted on a metal narrow-mount plate. There are two small bolt heads that come out of the bottom of the pickup, for mounting on different types of plates. You can simply remove this mounting plate and attach it to a different plate.

The leads are about 18 inches long.

$65

Lee, from South Texas

This is a great pickup. It's currently set up for a "narrow mount" guitar, but the mounting plate can be removed and you can fabricate a plate for a "wide mount" guitar

Would you say the 12-1 is a warm sounding pickup or a bright sounding pickup?

It is a warmer, fuller sound compared to and E66.

I agree with Dwight.

Also, compared to the original single-coil pickup that came with my Mullen, the 12-1 is a bit warmer and fuller sounding.

I think the 12-1 is the default pickup on quite a few U-12's and S-12's being built these days.
