Keith
My Hilton pedal has been great until recently. When the pedal is backed almost off it causes my amp to make a loud pop at one specific point in its travel. If I make sure that I don't back the volume off too far, there is no problem. Is this something that can easily be fixed or do I need to send it back to you?

Keith can give you a definite answer.

But, take the top off and check the plastic piece with the lines in it. That is what moves and determines the volume level, in reference to the infrared circuitry. Check the plastic piece and see if there is any dirt/dust, etc that has gotten on the plastic and if there is carefully clean it off and see if that fixes it.

Ken, thanks for using my pedal. I repair pedals for anyone who has a problem. Send me an e-mail to let me know what what kind of power supply it has, and how old it is. I will then get back to you about the repairs, and shipping instructions. It sounds to me like the back of the pedal may be hitting some electronic part in the rear of the pedal. Take the pedal apart and see if any part is sticking up higher than any of the other parts. If it is bend it down a little.Thanks.

Keith's suggestion has worked a treat. There were 2 capacitors that were being touched by the wiring loom at the rear of the pedal every time I pulled the pedal to the off position. Just bending these components over slightly instantly cured the problem. Thought I'd post this in case anyone else experiences the same problem.
