Having owned and played a '70s Session 400 w/ the flat back/spider label Black Widow, how does the tone of the Nashville 112 compare -- E9 neck only, don't have a C6 neck, and don't plan on one for a long time if ever.... I've had Nashville 400s and a Session 500, and the tone of those was good, but nowhere near as 'right' as that of the old Session 400... would I be disappointed in a N-112 (dont have access to one around here!), I have to admit, the weight and size is attractive... but the old '400 tone... hmmm |

Tone wise, I would rather the 70's model Session 400 I used to have even though I currently use a NV-112. They have a totally different tone! |

I have both, and they are two WAY different amps. The 112 will NOT be an improvement on the Session. You are good with what you're using. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

wellll right now, I'm using ummm nothing short of a headphone amp!.. I mistakenly sold the Session 400 about 4 years ago, and now am looking for something to fill the gap, and was wondering if I should pursue an old 400, or try one of the newer lighter Nashville 112's... |

The Peavey LTD. (Not the Session LTD.) would also be a good catch, they weigh around 50-52lbs. Same as a Session 400 only in a smaller package. The Peavey
LTD. & Session 400 or 2 great sounding amps, pleanty of tone & power.
Good Luck |
