| Our Jamboree for September will be held on Sunday the 21st from 4-7 PM. Our house band for the day will be the “Legends Band Reunion.” As most of you know, Larry Sutphin, the steel guitarist and vocalist for the Legends, suffered a severe stroke awhile back and is slowly recovering. Larry will be on hand that day to do some vocals, as well as a little keyboard playing. Larry still can’t use his left hand, but he’s been working on some keyboard skills and doing very good. Also in the group will be Rick Mann who was the fill-in steel guitarist with the Legends, along with regulars Stephanie Poole on vocals, Dave Norman on keyboards/vocals, Garland Abbott III on bass/vocals, Lonnie Godfrey on drums, and Jerry Hayes on lead guitar. Hopefully, President Tee Meroney will do some vocals with us as he did some work with the band on occasion.......... |
