I would like to thank Ron for allowing me to trade licks at the Steel Guitar Convention in St louis Friday nite. I thank you for your kindness and incouragement, and your understanding about how hard it is for us beginners to get started on this wild ride of playing Steel guitar and getting heard.
Thank you Ron!
I would also like to thank Billy Robinson.

Bill,
I have had the good fortune to have a good friend in Ron Elliott, which I have known for the last 15 years. This doesn't surprise me about Ron, because he is still one of the great players today and one that will always take a few minutes of his time to talk and just joke around. I don't get to talk with all of the time, but when I call, it's like we talked yesterday.
It's most likely that he will see this thread, so Ron, thanks for being "just a good ole' boy"....

Yes, I agree. Ron is a true gentleman in every sense of the word and Leslie is a gracious and lovely lady.

Not only is Ron a true gentleman, but he must look an awful lot like me. That's two of his best attributes, no doubt. There was one guy who came up and introduced me to his wife as Ron Elliot, and there was no way I could convince him otherwise, even though my badge had my name emblazoned on it.

Ron is a truly great person and player.
