Ive got a gig tomm. night. I lost the thing that tunes the pedals. Im sure I could find something at a hardware store, but what is it called? Or what size would I need for a shobud? Where can I buy a real one? Thanks guys.

Go to Sears, and buy a set of Nut Drivers. ( NOT Meteric. ) I don't have a Sho Bud, but, the number six or P6, fits my Emmons Legrande and My Zum SD-10.
They are sized in 64's so #6 is 6/64's Typically, that size is color coded Black. (1/4 inch is red and is P8 or 8/64's )

If you get a cheap set you should be covered for the Sho Bud. Or get a #6 and one size below and above. Maybe a Sho-Bud owner will come in here with the correct size.

Radio Shack used to sell Nut drivers also as well as electronic parts stores, if you near either one.

For the real thing, call Steel Guitar Nashville who sells "The George L tuning wrench" for $5.99, It is under wrenches on the left size of the screen.

Also Bruce at Zum sell them as well as George L directly. I suspect any steel shop will have them.

A 3/16 nut driver will do just fine.

The nut drivers are measured in 32's not 64's. So a P6 is 6/32. Sorry I can't type and chew gum at the same time. But P6 or #6 will do the job.

Do you have a Sho~Bud with the nylon (hex) tuners or the rack and barrel type tuners that use an allen wrench instead of a nut driver?
