Brad,

Is there an adapter to mount this in a rack?

Thanks,
Danny

I bought a rack shelf from Musicians Friend. Other than lining up and drilling the mounting holes for the Tonic, it was a snap. Worked out good. The only small concern I have is that it covers some of the cooling holes on the Tonic and I guess I could have made cutouts for that. Haven't had a problem though. I've got it mounted in my old Cush Case three place sidekick with a Stewert 200 power amp and a Juicegoose.

Danny's approach is the means by which the Tonic gets rack mounted. Many people are using the Tonic as a free-standing unit with no rack. It was kind of the portable answer to the Revelation. But no reason not to rack it up.

There are posts here on the Forum from Randy Beavers about how he packs his Tonic in his suitcase for air travel. Then all he needs is most any Peavy steel amp's power amp in, and he has "his sound". So there are advantages to the smallness of the Tonic also. Danny, The Tonic has some thick rubber feet that allow it to straddle the handle on most amps too.

My mate Billy Murdoch made a slick little attachment to hang the Tonic off the side of his pac-a-seat which I thought was rather ingenious ! There's a thread with a pic of it somewhere! Very close at hand for tweaking the perfect sound..... I think Billy might have been massaging the brain cells with a little single malt when he came up with such brilliance. Very Happy

Danny, did you order one? If not, I have one coming in a week or two if you want to check it out.

Brad, is the Tonic pretty much the same as the Revelation but not rack mounted, only mono outputs and effects loop? I am definitely looking forward to receiving mine.
