My Evans Eclipse speaker died last night. Can anyone recommend a replacement speaker. Black Widow comes to mind, never tried one in the Evans. Weber California 15 is interesting, not sure if it would hold the power of the Evans. Thanks in advance for some help.

Hey Kenny---the Weber will not handle the Evans power. I put a BW in my FET 500 Custom, replacing the Eclipse and I found it to be an improvement (no diss intended on the OEM Evans speakers).
Evans and Black Widow is a good match.

Hi Kenny,
I recently replaced the 8 ohlm Deltalite in my SE-200 with a 1501-4 basket and a Neo Magnet. I am very happy with the tone and the extra headroom that the 4 ohom speaker provided. It certainly cleaned up the highs as well as midrange. It is a bit brighter than the Deltalite but my Pre G-2 Mullen was a bit on the dark side so they canceled each other out. I'm very happy with the change....alan
