Last night we had Tommy Cass fill in on steel. What a pleasure it was to work with Tom again. It brought back alot of old memories. Thirty years ago we were on the road and in Missouri and we stopped at the old Chase Park Plaza for the steel convention! What a super tone he had last night on that push pull through that Vegas amp. (Same guitar he had on the road thirty years ago!)And it looks brand new! My wife Jessie got up to sing a few shuffles and just turned to me and said wow when Tommy started his break in Take me as I Am. It was beautiful. I can't wait to get him out again. Maybe at the RISGA show on Sept 20.

Yes Chris Tommy Cass is a great Steel player and he is a great person. I remember going to his house with my good Buddie John Jaicavelli when John needed work done on his Push pull Emmons.Hope you two guys can hook up together again.Lots of Luck with your Band and your new Wife.Hope to see both you and Tommy at your Uncle Franks Steel Show.

Tommy Cass....has been one of my dear friends for many years.....and he can forevermore play a steel guitar, and play it the way it should be played. I got my very first p/p from Tommy in the 70's, and it was one more great looking, playing and sounding guitar. I would venture to say it was probably the best guitar (p/p) I ever owned (kick-kick...lol). Glad to see that he's getting out and playing still. There was a time there when he didn't play as much.....and I thought, and voiced it, to myself and others that that was a waste of great steel guitar ability and talent.....Tommy is a pro all the way. Chris.....tell Frankie that Hal says hello. HAL

All I can say is that you guys should have been there! It was the best time I've had in a long time. It would have been a long ride for you, John. Hal, I'll tell Frank you said hello.
