I am having a problem with getting an email to Charles Tilley; my email keeps bouncing back to me.
Can anyone shed some light here: I have my reservations at the Sheraton DFW, the clerk there said that the rates were $93 per night; I ask if there is a special rate for the convention and her response was, "this is the special rate!" Can anyone verify this.............

The person you want to contact is Albert Talley, president of TSGA. Go to "texassteelguitar.org". Our friend, Mr. Tilley, is president of the East Texas Steel Guitar Association.
I just spoke with Albert Talley. The rate for the 2009 Texas Steel guitar Jamboree is $83.00 for a single and $93.00 for a double. For any reservations one should call the hotel direct at 972-929-8400 and not the 800 number, which is a national number. Also, the hotel is already almost full for the 2009 Jamboree. So, hurry and get your reservations made. They are already in the process of lining up overflow space.

A completely new web page will be up in a few days with all the current information. Please bear with us. Thanks

Jim, I can assure you there is a great big difference when it comes to playing steel guitar.

As far as looks, I can compete with him there. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
