Find a clip from Roger Miller. Wimpy on Steel and looks Buddy plays Bass.

Marcel: If you are refering to the guitarist to the left of Wimpy, that would be Fred Newell, who does look a little like Buddy when Buddy had a beard.

At that same link is another version of Invitation with a much younger Roger Miller singing the harmony to Ray Price. But I could not ID the steel player on that cut...any ideas ??

Wayne,

Thats what I ment. That guy who plays the six string bass at the left from Wimpy looks like Buddy.

I now that Buddy also play Bass in the past.
