Just got word from Wally Pfeifer (Joliet coordinator and Forumite) that he really needs everyone to get their Joliet convention registration forms in ASAP. Wally and crew need firm head counts for luau planning, hotel rooms, playing schedule etc.
Wally told me that he's gotten many emails and phone calls from people requesting performing spots, hotel rooms etc. with promises of sending in their reg forms - but then nothing shows up in the mail.
Come on guys. The only way to reserve your performing spot on stage and hotel room is to get your reg form in to Wally and to call the Holiday Inn to reserve your room.
Remember last year? The hotel was booked solid with both the HSGA convention and the "Monster Truck Certification Seminar" (I kid you not, ask anyone who was there) _________________ Gerald Ross

Chris,
Carlton Johnson, a great old steel guitar player who plays the socks off of A6th tuning like nobody else,
might come if you give him an invite. He lives in Colorado.
Also Chuck Lettes?
Are you driving or flying?
See you in Joliet.
I'm registered.
Aloha,
Don |
