Question

Does anyone know where you can get the most recent top 40 listing of singles on the country charts?

It's a shame that most of it is more like pop sung with a southern accent.

Anybody have any ideas?

The publically accessible Billboard country charts are here: http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/country_index.jsp

As far as singles go, they show up to the Top 25. To get more extensive charts, one must subscribe. They index albums, bluegrass (which is a form of country music), "catalog" albums, and "recurrent" albums separately.

Ideas about what? Why country music is different than 50-60 years ago? Or how can we bring it back to 1960? Either way, I think you've come to the right place. I think the stock answer here is that the world is going to hell in a handbasket and we're doomed. Some may differ, but I think they're in the minority. Wink
