Hi guys, I have a tuning copendent that is not all 440, some of the pedals tune up to, eg. 8th string= 440+9, lower -18, rais+2.
Now this is a little time consuming befor each gig, and I wondered if there was a tuner where you could set these tunings up once only, then press a button on the tuner so the setting sets at440 even thou it retains the settings i previousley installed in it.
The off settins I have work great, but a bit of a pain to set up every time I get it out of the case, other musos see me reading the settings and ask me if I know how to tune the steel up. Regards, Slim. |

Derrick,
Have You considered the Peterson strobo flip?
It has two built in programmes for pedal steel and You can also store Your own preference.
best regards

Yeah, Derrick, the new generations of Peterson Virtual Strobe tuners will do exactly what you're looking for, many threads here to search for more info. A great tool. |

I have a stroboflip. Now I just need to figure out how to get the tuning I want, and then to put it into the strobeo. _________________ We live to play another day. |

Turbo tuner will do it also, and is less expensive. Mine works perfectly. JP

I just got myself a strobo flip, and tuning takes less than half as long as it used to. |
