I have entered a number of photographs in a contest being run by The Tennessean, the major newspaper here in Nashville.
There are a number of music-related photos, color and B&W that I have entered. Lee Roy Parnell, Robert's Western Wear, etc. I think some of them look quite decent.
Anyone interested in having a look (and voting, if you feel the pictures are worthy) can click this link: http://www.capturemusiccity.com/people/Brownie58
Click on a picture and you'll be prompted to create a login ID. It's pretty painless, really...and I don't think you'll get spammed by the local newspaper. You can vote for as many photos as you like...one vote per image.
In any case, it's cool just to have a look around at all the photos submitted by a lot of great photographers, whether you like mine or not. Thanks!

Hi Geoff! I love B&W performance photos and you've got some great ones! There's just something about a black and white photo that speaks to me. I take them myself and love going back and looking through them from time to time. I have on my list to make a photo album of some of the better ones but have never gotten around to it. Here's a couple of mine.
Incredible singer/songwriter Walt Wilkins
Del McCoury Band
Once again, I love your photos and will sign up and vote for sure!
ps. I'll remove my pics if they start to distract from your original post.
Respectfully,
