Mint condition, translucent blue Epiphone Les Paul Classic Quilt Top with Epiphone hardshell case. ‘Hand-crafted’ in China in November 2005. Bought in 2006 to use as a backup.
Has well over $200 of upgrades, including Seymour Duncan ’59 model neck and bridge pickups with nickel covers, Switchcraft toggle switch and jack, Mallory capacitors, and CTS audio taper pots. Pro installation and setup. Great sound and feel.
If you read the Harmony Central reviews ( http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Epiphone/Les+Paul+Classic+Quilt+Top/10/1 ), you’ll see many folks do the upgrades that have been done already! Why spend the same $ for a new Epi LP + hsc without them?
At 8 to 8 1/2 lbs., it’s a good weight for a LP. Selling it because I play 6-string mostly sitting down these days and have other guitars that suit me better.
$450, which includes shipping and insurance to lower 48. This price includes the uninstalled pickguard, original gold knobs, owner’s manual, etc. For $25 more I’ll include the original open coil pickups and wiring harness.
Please note:
• Offered for sale to SGF members in continental US only
• USPS money order or certified bank check only
• No trade offers accepted
• Please email me directly; please do not a post a reply here or send a PM.
As always, thanks for looking –
