This has been my main lap steel for the past 4-5 years - got it off e-bay for around 100 bucks, tossed some DiMarzios in it, and it sounds great - but I have no idea who made it. Anyone ever seen one of these things?
Thanks!

Looks like a 'homer'.
Never seen another like it.

Too Funny.

I've been listening to your tunes on myspace all week.

I was wondering what kind of lap steel you use too. Smile

It looks homemade to me also. Steve, I live just around the bend in the Thousand Islands. Have you ever played in Alex Bay? And I love your lap steel pickin"

Thanks guys!
Gary, I've never played in the Thousand Islands - I wish I had! I've been based out of Atlanta the last 13 years. My wife's people come from Bombay, near Malone and Massena,up in your neck of the woods. What a beautiful area!
