I have an Evans ESPA preamp and am missing the power supply. No manual. Does anyone know what kind of adaptor I need to run this preamp? The back of the chassis says 24v AC under the outlet for the plug.
Also, I seem to remember a noise problem with this unit. Do you know of anyone who works on them? |

Evans will work on them (their own sub-contractor). I don't know what the situation is right now with Evans with the recent passing of Ed Buffington.

Jack,
I was going to contact them, but as you say, it might not be the best time. I'll fire an email off to them, but not get excited if I don't hear back real soon. Losing Ed is a definate loss in the Amplifier world.
Does anyone know when Ken Fox will be back from vacation?
The first step is finding the power supply. |

Mine blew a few years ago and I found a power supply for Christmas tree lights in our closet, works perfectly !
Remember , it is AC/AC , 24 v. _________________ Olli Haavisto

I think Ken said he would be back the latter part of this month, but if he goes to St Louis that would mean he would just get back and leave again. |
