This is a 1984 Emmons SKH* LeGrande, Midnight Blue in color, 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. Original condition (meaning no levers have ever been added or taken off so no "extra holes" in the body). Emmons pickups; Emmons pedal/knee lever setup. The bellcranks are 4-hole. Guitar sounds great and looks great, too. The case is in good condition (about what you'd expect for a guitar of this age). Price $2995. Guitar can be delivered in St. Louis or shipped insured (buyer responsible for actual costs). I can be reached at tommyd@mindspring.com or phone: 678-574-7071

* "SKH" stands for "short keyhead." This was the first model of all-pull Emmons, made around 1979-84, and considered by many to be one of the more sought-after sounding Emmons guitar.

I had an '85 skh and it ewas by far one of the finest guitars I ever owned. Bobby Bowman ("DR. B") did some overhauling on it about 3 years ago and I sold it shorly after (I'm still kicking myself) and got a couple of Carters which I eventually sold and got my present Rains Guitar......which I absolutley love. Tommy......that is one fine looking guitar......and I wish you the best in getting it sold.....If I had the $$$$'s.....I wouldn't mind having another Emmons SKH.....and that dark blue is just an awesome color........HAL

Hal,
I think maybe my cousin Dave Mudgett bought your '85 SKH LeGrande. He said it's a great guitar.

I have the first one sold 015L and it's a great guitar. Has Lawrence 705's in it, would be the last guitar I would ever get rid of. And of course it's black. Can't go wrong with one of these IMHO.

This guitar is sold and will be delivered to the new owner in St. Louis. He'll then take it over the big pond to live.....

Thanks to all who inquired.

Nick's right - I have Hal's old SKH, it came from Billy Carr a couple of years ago. It's a really great guitar. I wish I'd have had the money for this one.
