Our summer seems so short up here in Nova Scotia I
find myself playing this song now on just about every
guitar I pick up. I thought it might be interesting
to work it out as a SOLO on standard E9th. and here
is what happened.
This incorporated A and B pedals and knee lowering
E's only.

Hi Buck,

First let me say that I have seen videos of
your playing from a few steel shows and was very impressed with your performances. Congratulations!

In answer to your post the "link" in my post above
is to the song "Summertime...and the livin is easy....."

I have never played Super Time but am familiar
with that Gospel song also. Maybe I will try it
in the future. Better still, why don't you play
it and then I can listen to you. Very Happy

Best Regards to you and yours.

Roy Thomson

Roy. For some reason I cannot open this file. I have been working on a version of this for 12 string Leavitt. I sure would like to hear what you have done with it. I will keep trying to open it. Hope all is well.

Roy
I can't open it also.
I have been playing this song for about 50 years.
First on guitar and now on steel.
Would like to hear your version.
Santo and Johnny did a great version of this on their 1st LP album.
