Hey All,

I did a search and did not find an answer to the part's questions wanderin' around in my head.

Is there a routine, regular source for generic PSG parts?

If a PSG should be damaged, does it have to go back to the builder or are the parts readily available?

Where do you restoration/overhaul gurus obtain the parts you need?

Thanks,

Johnne Lee Confused

Depending on which brand you are talking about. Some builders have parts available. They vary from tuners, cross rods, changers, end-plates, keyheads, pick up's.

Emmons has a wide variety in these parts.I think that when you have a brand guitar that is still been build you will not find any problems when you call the manufacturer.
All of them are very helpful.Besides....there are lots and lots of people that have spare parts lying around their house.
Just ask and you will see what pops up.
Not everyone knows how to upgrade or replace parts though.Thats why some of us ship the guitar to the builder to have upgrade or repairs done.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the great information as always. I've read quite a number of your posts/replies and they are always informative and helpful!
