Been to New Smyrna Beach 3x, Jacksonville 1x, Atlanta 1x, and New York PSGA shows about 9x. How come there's no Steel shows in Orlando right in the center of Florida. Great hotels, airport and don't forget to bring the wife & kids to Disney. It's a great location. Also Ft Lauderdale is great place, lots of beaches, young chicks (not of the Dixie kind) in two string pieces and the weather in the winter here is too great to discribe (right now at 2 pm 1/9/00 it's 80* dry degrees with clear blue skies). If I ever win lotto you bet Bubba's sweet tutu there's gonna be a "World Steel Guitar 5 DAY Festivale", with fireworks right on the beaches at Ft. Lauderdale, like at the end of January (2015). It will be free to all Steel Guitarist & their families/friends. For the bad news, Plant City is out this year for me and about 5 other steelers in this area.
