Can anybody suggest a good first Buddy Emmons and Lloyd Green CD to purchase? I know they're probably ALL good....but looking to pick the first one of each. Thanks! _________________ Sho-Bud Super Pro D10,Tele,Strat,Martin D-28,Korg Triton Pro,Nashville 400 |

The Black Album is a must have for classic Emmons. My favorite for Lloyd is Ten Shades of Green. But you hit it on the head, they're ALL good. |

Lloyd's records can be hard to find on CD - if you've got a turntable you can find most of them here or on Ebay. I'd recommend the Little Darlin' collection. Super cool and easy to find (and on CD). If you can find one, I love Moody River and Cool Steel Man (both have been on CD). His most recent - Revisited - is a killer CD too!
I just got 10 shades of Green on vinyl yesterday... |
