Just sent two Fender speakers to Carl at South Florida Speaker Repair. Called me and they are ready to come home in less than a week!

Last speakers I had took 3 months and two more at Ted Weber's for 1.5 months!

Carl called me today and we discussed speakers! He can do the 1501-4SB or any Peavey 15" BW for $80.00.

JBL with after market kits at 99.00, no factory 4 ohm kits available. Factory K130 kits are 239.00 installed (8-16 ohm)

Sounds like great news on the 1501's Ken. A couple of weeks ago I was trying to figure out this very question... but after seeing some postings about delays for BW baskets replacements.. I decided to order a 4 ohm Weber 15" ceramic "Michigan". This is to go in an external open-back cab for my NV 112 amp (alone, no 12" speaker). When I get the cabs finished I'll let folks know how it sounds.

The problem, Jack, is you can't but one anywhere anymore!!!

I have had a pledge for a 2000.00 or more order at my distributor since February and they still do not have any

According to Peavey spare parts it's "in stock". I have one on the way (should be here today if they got it out Monday, or Tuesday at the latest, as they promised).

My 1501 shallow basket arrived Friday after some 4 months. Guess they're up and running again.

Mike,

Are the neodymium magnets for the black widows in stock?

Thanks,
Murnel
