Charles Tilley just posted my new song for July on his Website "Songs heard around the world."
"Here's that Rainy Day". Reece has a great jazz version of it on his first Great LP "Modern Steel Guitar", which I believe b0b has it in the Forum Catalogue.
Clik on the Blue MP3 as it seems to be a little clearer on my computer than the MPEG Green.
I tried one with Band in A Box backup but it was distorted in the mix. So I went direct from my Crate amp to "Line in" on the computer. I did one take, flubs and all.LOL.
Thanks Tilley for your work in setting up this Website. I'm sure it is appreciated by the memebers of this Forum....al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.

I tried to play it, and I get no sound. The other clips work fine. |

That’s an enjoyable, tasteful song Al. I like the full chords throughout.
It doesn’t need Band-in-a-Box anyway.

Howard-Thanks, it is one of my many favorites too...
Rick- Glad you got a lift and enjoyed it.I have always liked chord melody, but have heard some great single note melody, done with taste...
Bob Tuttle-thanks for posting, try it again, it may work now.
Michael-Thanks for the nice comments. I did one with BIAB but it was distorted and didnt mix too well to suit me. I am glad you are a full chord man too.
Bill Sutton-Band in a Box has a good track for the song. Charles Tilley has a good one too, that he gave me, I can send them to you if you like...
Thanks guys, I appreciate the fine comments for some of these jazz, big band sounds. Although I like all kinds of music, I spent many years playing these kinds of tunes, besides the Country E9 songs....al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.

Bob-I am glad you got it ok. Thanks for listening and your comment.
I wish more guys would post a song on Tilley's Website. I see lots of them that post one and then you dont hear from most of them again. I'd like to hear more of them.
I see my Good friend Fred Welch has replaced his "In the Garden" with a new song "Danny Boy" , a very nice recording with a nice light touch. He plays a S12 MSA Universal......al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.
