This practice board has a 12 string neck but can certantly accomodate you 10 string players. The neck is made of solid oak and the key head, fret board and pickup I got from Bruce Zumsteg. This practice board is live and I even used it on stage a couple times. One of a kind. $125 + shipping.

Harold,
Where did you come by the practice board? Did you build it? How is it tuned?
Thanks,

Yep, I built it many years ago and it ended up in the closet until I stumbled on to it. I just thought somebody might be able to use it. Its tuned as an open E9th. It was a good way to practice bar slants and such. |

Rats. Missed checking that because of the "practice board" title.
That's a real lap steel. Completely playable, and with a pickup mounted.
Can you look in that closet again and see if there might still be another one in there. |

GA,
I'll second that motion. I never looked at the post because I thought "practice board" must have meant a cheesey little powered PA head. I really need to stop thinking. Dumb, dumb, dumbie me.

Seems I remember Paul Franklin used one on a tour bus when on the road. Think I saw the artical in a steel guitar magazine one time. good idea!
It would be good to have one for C6 also.
