Rick, can't you afford new equipment? Where's the steel?
I sure do like your playing,

Bobbe, there's something comforting about playing through an amp that's the same age as me.
Thanks for the kind words. It means a lot.
Thanks Steinar - much appreciated!
Chuck, it's been real hot here lately, but it's nice and cool in the studio.
Yeah it's a great old standard.
I always loved the Jo Stafford recording.
I had a windup Victrola when I was a little kid and that was one of the 78s I used to play.
JW, thank you buddy - I reckon 5 thumbs is a pretty good score by possum standards! |

I can't find any amps as old as me Rick, come to think of it, I'm not sure there was electricity back when I was learning to be a pickster,,,,,,,,

Hey Rick.........
Great playing......and I love the tune. I find a lot of 'music' in those older pop tunes..... certainly lacking in much of today's stuff.
Okay, so you've bot a couple of postwar Ricks, eh?
Why not show us all of your walls and all the nooks and crannies in your music studio? I'm sure many of us would be interested. |

Ain't that the truth!
If the audience can't walk away humming the tune, what's the point?
You've given them nothing, except maybe a ringing in their ears . .

Here are pics of guitars in the studio.
These guitars have caught my interest recently.
They are the most underrated guitars on the planet, and can still be found for about $300.
