Hello everyone, my name's Josh, and I'm a full-time professional musician, playing lap steel, ukulele and singing mostly Hawaiian music in the NYC metro area.

During the slow (& cold) winter months I'll be devoting time to arranging music for the lap steel guitar. if anyone's interested, I just did an arrangement of "The Christmas Song"(Chestnuts) for C6 tuning.

I've got a short clip of me doing the song to a ukulele backing track on my site and on youtube, check it out, and please comment or let me know if this is something you're interested in playing.

It's more for intermediate players because of all the slants and the jazz chords. It's $7 and includes the pdf and a ukulele backing track.

Happy Holidays,

Josh

Happy holidays,

Special offer to all forum members. In the spirit of the holidays, here's a link to the first section of the song TAB, remember the songs for 6 string lap steel tuned to C6.

If you like it and are desirous of the rest, just email me your address and I'll snail mail a copy out to you no charge.

If you'd also like the backing track (as WAV or WMV), just send a small $5 donation. To my email address liguitar@optonline.net

Also, if you check out the TAB please provide any comments, I'd love to hear from other forum members.

Thanks so much,

Josh

I've had a couple inquiries about the TAB, just to clear things up, I'm able to email the PDF to you as well, just in case you don't want to wait for the snail mail. Check out the sample pdf for the first half. And there's no charge for the TAB...happy holidays
