I'll be in Minneapolis the next two weeks-any shows I should check out? Hopefully I can make it to the Midwest Country Theater to see Joe Savage (I've been watching him on the RFD-TV network). Anything in the metro area?

| Unless Joe is out of town, he's usually with Becky Thompson at Lee's Liquor Lounge on Mondays. A very good local band. Besides the great musicians, Becky and the boys always manage to place a few tunes you don't usually hear local bands play. |

I'm here. I've got Lee's tonight (and every Monday) and Mayslack's in N.E. Mpls on Friday w/ Hookers and Blow, the funk/R&B band I play with. Saturday is at Sandstone. Maybe I'll see ya at one of 'em. Find a City Pages for addresses and stuff.

| Hi Chris - This Wednesday, the 16th, I will be sitting in with the band The Cajun Hot Soles for an outdoors free event in St Paul. It is at Macalester College, from 630 to 830 pm, on the campus plaza which is just south of Grand Ave and west of Snelling Ave. Stop by if you get a chance, it is billed as an annual neighborhood party with kid's activities and treats.
