I have an SD-12PP that started life as a D-12. It's serial #120 and the best I could find out by researching here on the forum was about 1971.
If the D-12's follow the other PP's habit's of having the end plates serialized when they were cast and sitting around until the guitar was built to order, then all bets are off!!! LOL
