I'm listening to Paul singing Lonesome Town from his Run Devil Run rock & roll CD. We often think of Paul as the Beatles songwriter. This track reminds me that even on cover tunes, he has incredible vocal chops. Reminds me of a tenor version of Roy Orbison, in a way.
I highly recommend Run Devil Run to anyone who likes rock & roll. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

I totally agree, Paul is, was, whatever, has/had the gift. He was one heck of a Beatle ! One of my favorite solo albums was RAM, although maybe not the best songs ever written but the performance of the tunes was amazing to me.. maybe I'll play it again this weekend and get out my tie dyed tee shirt too
The LET IT BE album really showed Paul as a totally different Beatle as well.
oh, and here's Long Tall Sally..another Paul cover classic...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj0THqkPSHs |

Absolutely, guys.
Let's not forget his great collaboration with Lloyd Green - "Sally G". Country (England or not) don't get much better than this. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

b0b,
Look or Google around for the version of "Dream Baby" the Beatles did, I think Paul sang the lead vocal. It was one of those 'BBC Sessions' things, pretty good stuff. |
