Hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I'm not sure I'm clamping my pedal bar on to the legs correctly. I seems like i have to tighten the wingnut extra tight to get it to stay in place. The guitar is a fessenden, the clamps slide over the leg then clamp at a 45 degree angle. I have to use a Screw driver to hold the screw in place then tighten to wing nuts to get the bar to stay in place.

Thanks

Matt

Matthew,

I have had the same issue with my Fessenden. To be fair, when I picked up the guitar from Jerry, I asked if there were any special maintainance issues I should know about, and he mentioned that those screws seem to fail a lot. I've been meaning to replace mine for a while but haven't gotten around to it. I have discovered that just using my fingers, so that it is not clamped down super tight, seems to hold the pedal bar in place just fine.
