I’m really happy to let you guys know that the long-in-the-making Archie Francis CD is finally available on CD Baby.

www.cdbaby.com/archiefrancis

For those who don’t know Archie, he is an 11 times ACM drummer of the year winner, a veteran of the Palomino, who’s worked with everyone from Bob Wills to Roger Miller. What fewer people know, is that Archie is also a great singer song-writer in his own right, and he wrote or co-wrote this collection of great original tunes.

We’re talking real classic country, both authentic AND original, with western and west coast flavors, and some CORN in the mix (those who know Archie will know what I mean) .

On this album, Archie is reunited with his buddies Jay Dee M and Al Bruno, and that alone is worth the price of admission. Other greats on this include: Luke Halpin on Mandolin and fiddle, and Mark “Pocket” Goldberg on acoustic bass.

I’m also throwing in Archie’s myspace, where samples are available.

www.myspace.com/archiefrancismusic

Please note, those CDs are going pretty fast, and as you know CD baby only stocks a small amount at a time, so if you get the back-order message, please register as they will be restocked by the next day…

So remember ( and all of you guys carrying on about how the top 40 stuff is crap, and how line dancers ruined the world, this means you!) nothings says “I support great traditional country music” like… supporting great traditional country music.

Take care!!!

A wonderful CD! Archie's quirky wit and charm is fully in evidence, very well recorded, and terrific steel playing from Jay Dee.

Buy one!

Archie should be on the Grand ole Opry in Nashville,Tn. He would give that stage some colorful joy with his spirit. He is a great Entertainer - Musician and a true friend.I,ve tried for years to help him and Al Bruno. But,with out that Radio World of air play you're just a little # on the side of almost nothing. These brothers should be respected for what they have givin this Music Industry from this new Industry of young. > Leo J.Eiffert,jr.

I think that Jay Dee is one of the best ever; flawless, smooth picking. I have always been a fan of Jay Dee Maness just like I have Buddy Emmons.

Congratulations on a great album with great songs. Finally something country done with good taste and great playing. Over the years I always enjoyed playing casuals with you with Danny Michaels and Harvey Walker. I always got a kick out of you singing "Someone Robbed the Glendale Train" (I think that was the title}. Also I always amazed at how fast you could set up for a gig and how fast you could tear down and be gone at the end of the gig.
Best Regards,
Billy Tonnesen

Stephan Franck, I'm trying to pull some strings for Archie Francis. Them big heads are a little hard headed at times. You just got to stay on them.I know'em and you got to hand feed them little babies. That's the only way they come around. If you fight them it's over. Not unless you know what your talking about then they stay away from you. Archie Francis on the Grand Ole Opry singing his " Corn " trade mark song. . Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.
