"Honolulu City Lights" - Who da steelah?

Keola & Kapono Beamer's award-winning "Honolulu City Lights" had a pedal steeler on at least 2 tracks. This album won a Hôkû award in 1979, but I know little else about the recording faculty, etc. Who was the steeler?
