Audacity will let you make another CD with pitch and/or tempo changed independently of each other. Most Karaoke players will let you play a CD while raising the key "up" or "down" a given number of half steps. _________________ Pioneers of Western Swing HOF, Seattle 2005

Check out Marantz. In their "professional" line I know in the past they have offered cd players with pitch control, a remote and A-B repeat. They were expensive and rack mountable, but they had the features you're looking for.
They also have a "consumer" line which may offer similar features at a lower price. |

Gary, I once had a CD/DVD player with a 'Key+' and 'Key-' function on the remote. Worked perfectly until it packed up after some time. With a bit of luck you'll find one if you're prepared to walk from supplier to supplier and see what they've got on their shelves. Unfortunately very few players have the feature. |

Tascam makes a unit called the CD-GT2 for about $150.00. You can slow down and stay in the same key, tune the pitch up and down etc. I believe there is foot switch available for remote operation. _________________ Ellis Miller
